Pre-School Activities

Brandi "B" Day Care's preschool program for ages 2-5 years offers creativity every month and it is structured so your child will learn as they are having fun! The preschool curriculum reviews different letters, numbers, colors, shapes each month. Each month includes alphabet and language activities, music and movement, hands-on math and science, social activities and games.

Each month, your child will participate in integrated activities related to two or three educational themes. Your child will be introduced to three alphabet letters, two colors, two to three numbers, and one shape. Our program will offer a wide variety of hands-on opportunities for children to explore the world around them. The activities shared with our program will stimulate creativity and build a positive self-image in each child.

The arts and crafts projects will reflect on two different preschool themes per month in addition to the projects that relate to the alphabet for that month too. A few of these preschool activities are: animals, people, puppets, objects, nature/health/seasonal projects and much more!

Children learn best through interacting with their environment and our program presents activities with that in mind. Being aware of the developmental readiness of each child can boost self confidence and independent thinking. Children are provided opportunities for individual expression and are able to practice decision-making. This type of environment promotes skills and discipline, inspires creativity, encourages flexibility, and provides for emotional release. These developmentally appropriate activities encompass all areas of your child's development which is the best way to boost school readiness.
